Safe and Sound is an interactive installation that reacts to sound like a living body. It detects and classifies its sonic environment and expresses emotional states through breath and tentacle movement. Inspired by the emotional power of sound and its ability to trigger memory and bodily response, the work explores empathy across boundaries: between people, and between humans and machines. By expressing vulnerability through motion and rhythm, Safe and Sound invites viewers to listen, interact, and respond.
